Event: Barack Obama becomes the 44th President of the Unites States
When: January 20, 2009
Where: Washington D.C.
President Elect Obama will become President Obama in the swearing in ceremony on January 20th at the capitol building. Will he be the man of 'change' and really lead America into a brand new successful direction as most brain dead liberals claim? Or will he be the next Jimmy Carter all over again but with a more liberal mantra?
We will most certainly have to wait to find out. The next four years will certainly be an interesting time. With a sagging economy, two wars still in progress and terrorism still a high threat Obama will surely have his hands full. I think Obama and the liberal masses out there will finally come to realize that a Democratic President is not the answer to all of the worlds problems. But then again I would not put it past people like Barbra Walters to still blame President Bush for everything she dislikes.
For a million reasons that I won't get into I was strongly against Obama becoming President. He ran against most of my strong conservative and even good old fashioned American beliefs. But recently Obama has been using a more moderate and at times Conservative approach to matters. Simply because his liberal spiel that he gave the masses during the election race is the complete wrong way to go about most things, especially when dealing with the economy..and he knows it. Ya how about all them businesses and persons making over $250,000 you were going to raise taxes on Mr. Obama? Guess he finally figured out that that would not be the best idea in today's economic situation.
In any event having the first black President take office during our life times is something rather remarkable in itself. Lets all hope he does a decent job.
Event: Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski. MMA fight.
Affliction 'Day of Reckoning'

Where: Anaheim, California
Fedor Emelianenko, the greatest MMA fighter to ever step into the ring is set to defend his Title again. The 29-1 record will go on the line again against former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski.
Fedor defeated another former UFC champ Tim Sylvia in under a minute in the first Affliciton event. Arlovski is regarded as one of the top MMA fighters currently. This fight should be a good one considering the critics can no longer suggest Fedor has not fought anyone with skill recently.
I think this fight will go more than a round. Fedor (The Last Emperor) will get the win though in my eyes. He's still on a whole other level than even Arlovski. And with Arlovski's prone weak chin I expect Fedor to come out punching.
